Ingredients:

For the cupcakes:

  • 1/2 cup of butter
  • 6 tbsp. of brown sugar
  • 6 tbsp. of sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. of vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup + 2 tbsp. of flour
  • 1/2 tsp of baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. of salt

For the filling:

  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/8 tsp. of salt
  • 6 oz. of semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 tsp. of vanilla

Instructions:

  1. Spoon the batter into the paper lined tins by dividing them in between the cakes.
  2. Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit until the cakes are golden. Remove the cakes from the oven.
  3. Spoon the filling into each cup by dividing them among the cupcakes. Bake again for 15 minutes.
